Falling Bushkill

A privately owned location with something for everyone is Bushkill Falls! You may amuse yourself with anything from a labyrinth to a miniature golf course. The variety of hiking paths, though, is the park's major draw. It's one of the best spots to view Poconos Falls for a reason, of course! There are a total of four pathways, each with a unique length and level of difficulty. Whichever path you choose, at least one of the eight waterfalls in the park will be visible to you clearly.

Among the choices is the quickest and simplest green route. It took roughly fifteen minutes to finish. Although there are stairs, you should be able to view the main falls from this trail without having to climb.

With the yellow route, you can visit Main Falls, Lower Gorge Falls, Lauren Glen, and Upper Canyon in around 45 minutes of harder, longer hiking. When you take this path, you may also observe a "display" of animals.

You may reach Pennell Falls by using the blue trail, which takes over an hour to complete.

The red path is the most challenging to navigate, to finish. It will take you approximately two kilometers through the whole park. It typically takes more than two hours to get there and includes all eight falls.

Bushkill Falls is accessible by car in 40 minutes from Ledges Hotel and is open daily from 9 am to 7 pm.

Wilmington Water Gap

Pocono Mountains

Along with Pennsylvania and New Jersey, the Delaware Water Gap Recreation Area has 70,000 acres of protected property. There are miles of additional beautiful treks there, as well as a section of the Appalachian Trail in the Pocono Mountains. North, center, and south are the three sections that make up the region. The southern roads are definitely worth the journey if you're looking for a fast day excursion, even if they are further from Ledges Hotel (approximately 35 minutes away) in the north. Most parks are open every day of the year.
