Let's go to the lovely, fascinating visitors center on Route 534 to learn more about how it developed and the history of the region, then go on a climb to picturesque Hawk Falls. In addition to a lake where you may enjoy the beach and go swimming in the summer or go ice skating when the water freezes in the winter, the Sand Spring Day Use Area has a 19-hole disc golf course.

Park Beltzville State
1024x602 Beltzville State Park
massive green slope
Beltzville State Park has a vast 949-acre reservoir with approximately 20 miles of coastline, as well as more than 3,000 acres of Carbon County's lovely woods and hills. Summertime would be a great time to enjoy the sandy beach, and most kinds of recreational boats may be accessed from the sea through the boat launches at Pine Run East on the northern coast and Preachers Camp on the southern shore (maximum boating speed is 45 mph). There is a boat rental service offered all summer long. The waterways are stocked with warm and cold water game fish and panfish, but you may also bring your own boat (with valid state registration) and go on a spectacular spring or fall fishing excursion.
If you'd rather remain on dry ground, Beltzville Lake is encircled by 15 miles of hiking trails that converge at Sawmill Run, Wild Creek, and Pohopoco Creek. Visit the stunning Harrity Covered Bridge, which was constructed in 1842 and moved to its present site next to the boat rental during the construction of the dam.
Opening hours are Monday through Sunday from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
Location: 2950 Pohopoco Drive, Lehighton, Pennsylvania 18235, USA
